Notice of Disruption: Elora Cataract Trailway near County Road 19, Monday, May 12 and Tuesday, May 13, 2025

Limited access will be in place on the Elora Cataract Trailway near County Road 19 on Monday, May 12 and Tuesday, May 13. Our contractor will be replacing a culvert in this area. This work is necessary to maintain trail safety and infrastructure. We appreciate your understanding.

Notice of boat launch and trail restrictions: Shade’s Mills Conservation Area, Tuesday, May 6, 2025

Shade’s Mills Conservation Area boat launch will be restricted, and trails will be intermittently closed on May 6, 2025. For the most up-to-date information, please visit the Conservation Area Status webpage.

Ongoing Closure: Low Level Bridge at Elora Gorge – Pedestrian Access Only

The low-level bridge at Elora Gorge Conservation Area is now open to pedestrian traffic, but remains closed to vehicles. Construction crews are nearing completion of remediation work on the bridge, with the closure to vehicles expected to last until the end of the season. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding as we work to enhance the safety and functionality of this infrastructure.

Pinehurst Lake Conservation Area - Construction detour and access disruption:  2025-2028

The County of Brant is undertaking a multi-year road construction project that will create detours and access disruptions to Pinehurst Lake Conservation Area. Learn more on the County of Brant website.

Ongoing closure: Mill Ruins at Rockwood Conservation Area closed

The ruins of the Harris & Co. Rockwood Woolen Mill remain closed due to potential safety concerns.
